As an Edge Hill graduate you can continue to access support from the Careers and Employability team for three years after you finish. Whether you need a hand with finding and applying for job opportunities, want to explore possible career pathways, or support with an application for further study – we are here to help!
How to access Careers once you’ve graduated
- If you find you can’t log in to the Careers Portal you need to register first Make sure you include your old student number.
- Once registered, go into the ‘Me’ area, click on your ‘profile’ and update your personal email address.
- If you have any issues email us on [email protected] and we’ll assist.
When you complete your profile on the site, indicate what types of jobs you are interested in. You can then set up email alerts for specific information and job vacancies that are relevant to you.

What next?
Once you’ve got your Careers portal account set up you can:
Search for graduate vacancies
Book appointments with a member of the careers team to talk through your ideas, get advice and ask questions (in person, on Teams or on the phone.) If you have an interview coming up and would like to work on your technique, you can also book for a practice interview with a careers adviser.
Use our Ask a Question e-guidance service for email advice, and to get applications for jobs or postgrad study checked.

CareerSet is an AI tool designed to help you improve your CV with instant, personalised feedback. Simply upload your CV, and Career Set will analyse it for key areas such as formatting, keywords, and content alignment with your target role.
Graduates First – practice tests. It is becoming increasingly popular for employers to use psychometric testing as part of their recruitment process – it can be difficult to know what employers are looking for. This tool gives you the chance to practise and improve your scores giving detailed feedback on your answers.
